القصيدة. ويفهم ذلك من اختلاف الرواة في سبب نظمها. ففي "كتاب الأغاني" يصرح أنه قالها على أثر ما جرى لأمه عند عمرو بن هند وفي كتاب "خزانة الأدب" أنه أنشدها بحضرة الملك عمرو بن هند. فلعله نظمها في الواقعتين.
