رُوي له ثلاثة مقاطع شعرية فيها أحد عشر بيتًا والثالث عبد الله رُوي له ثلاثة أبيات وكان عقب الشاعر معروفًا حتى عصر أبي الفرج الأصفهاني "284هـ/ 897- 356هـ/ 967م" إذ ذكر منهم كلثوم بن عمرو العتّابي الشاعر صاحب الرسائل1.
